What I’m reading
Unfortunately, I don’t have as much time to read these days as I used to. The days of reading 40-50 books per year are long gone. But I’m always reading something.
Current read: “Time of the Twins” by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. Time for a bit of a comfort read. These were integral books in my development both as a reader and a writer. I revisited the Dragonlance Chronicles last year. Starting my run through Legends.
Last read: “King Sorrow” by Joe Hill. Some may know that Hill’s “Heart-Shaped Box” played an integral role in getting me back to writing after many years away. His other novels have been a mixed bag for me. Read my full thoughts on this one.
Current listening
Music is a major part of my writing process, as well as my life. I’ve often joked that I spend more time planning the soundtrack of my novels than what I’m actually going to write, but it’s not far from the truth. I’m an old metalhead who dabbles in other musical styles. Here I’ll share the current soundtrack for my life (and eventually, maybe some of my novels.) The button below will also take you to my infrequently updated music review site.
