For the third straight year, I’ll have a story in It Came from the Trailer Park, Volume VI, the annual Halloween humorous horror anthology from Three Ravens Publishing. It’s currently available for preorder on Amazon.
This year’s theme is prison planet Earth, and my featured story is “Jolene in the Green Fields.” As you might guess from the title, Dolly Parton’s famous song inspired a portion of the tale (which was written while she was still with us). It follows the adventures of a young couple, desperate to escape from a bedroom in her parents’ home, who talk their way into an upscale, gated trailer park. They soon begin to learn some strange truths about their new neighbors.
The e-book version can be preordered now, and the paperback will be available on Halloween.
